Caroline Silby is the sports psychologist for the US Figure Skating Team at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. She is residing in the US Figure Skating’s apartment, which is across the street from the Olympic Village, along with some of the coaches, USFS staff, PT, boot and blade magician and soft tissue experts who all work as a team to best support the athletes.
Dr. Silby attends practices and is present for whatever the athletes, coaches, and team leaders need in relation to mental approach throughout the games. Four of these athletes, have been her longtime personal clients but she also provides coverage for US Figure Skating Team USA athletes (junior and senior) along with Alex Cohen, Senior Sport Psychologist at the USOC. Caroline attends most practices and events so she can be available to the athletes and coaches daily.
